Smart Wind Farm

Participated in the core algorithm development of intelligent operation and maintenance system of China's first offshore wind farm "Donghai Bridge Wind Farm“.

The Donghai Bridge Wind Farm has a total installed capacity of 102,000 kilowatts, with Shanghai Electric providing 3.6MW offshore units for the project. The "Wind Turbine Guardian II" system is a comprehensive assessment tool based on big data cluster and extensive wind turbine data analysis. The "WindCloud" system serves as its lifecycle intelligent management platform, interconnected with over 140 wind farms and more than 5,500 turbines nationwide. It employs big data analytics, artificial intelligence, rapid meteorological forecasting, and ocean current analysis technologies. The system conducts statistical analysis on turbine health, operational status, and comparative performance with other turbines, enabling reliability and fault root cause analysis, and precise prediction of potential turbine failures. This facilitates unmanned or minimally manned operations for turbine health management, power prediction, and offshore maintenance scheduling, significantly reducing operational costs and minimizing rechecks and missed detections.
